We've been eagerly logging into the website and checking out the progress, which we are both pretty impressed with and excited for the completion next year. We know that RedSea Properties projects are always completed on time and having been to visit the construction sites ourselves, we want to do more business with RedSea Properties and their Egyptian Builders. When we visited Hurghada we were quite surprised that we were collected in a air conditioned new bus and all the Egyptians that looked very westernised speaking excellent English. The office team in Hurghada gave us a really well presented and comprehensive brochure of the Oasis resort project, complete with prices, floor plans, images and visuals of the finished project, and best of all, an absolute handover date for the finished project.
They took us to visit some of the other competed projects that had just been finished and was completely astounded by the quality of finish, attention to detail in communal area's, the gorgeous pool and most importantly the price which was far cheaper than Sharm el Sheikh. Sounds too good to be true but this was the feeling we got, we had already at that point decided that John (
RedSea Properties) and their Egyptian Construction Building Company Colleagues knew exactly what they were doing and totally professional. We're already thinking about our second apartment in Hurghada once our first is completed in 2008.”

“When we were planning our trip to Egypt it was last minute after returning from Kenya , we had 2 days before flying out there then also at the last minute decided to look for a property out in Egypt . Initially our search was for Sharm el Sheikh but after seeing
RedSea Properties advertisements, we submitted an enquiry for information, within a few hours we had a return call from John who was very friendly and professional answering all the questions we had at that time about working visa's, land ownership issues etc. We wanted an affordable quality apartment so that we could move from the UK and live there doing lots of diving. John gave us his contact details as well as the Egyptian Office in Hurghada and advised he would call a few days after our arrival in Sharm El Sheikh, on holiday, once we had settled in. After viewing properties in Sharm with other companies we found the quality poor after project completion and quite expensive. We were quite weary about buying and dealing with foreign property companies and whether the whole truth was being told and that we were not being scammed, so I know this will sound biased and how I often read testimonials on other peoples websites but this is how we felt and our actual experience .
Leaving our options open we then got the sea cat fast ferry from Sharm to Hurghada, not knowing a lot about the place apart from reviews on diver websites that it's better on average for diving in the Red Sea.
When we arrived in Hurghada we met up with another Egyptian company as arranged through their individual agent in the UK , to be quite honest they did not have a clue about what we required in the standard of property, location and view! This had dampened our efforts and then we went back to our Hotel and then
RedSea Properties Egyptian colleagues turned after office hours to take us on a tour of their projects, we thought what the hell and went along for the ride.
They then took us to what was then the start of Oasis Resort complex which consisted of foundations and first level concrete supports, which looks small until we walked through what would be the apartments and into the centre of what we call "the donut" the pool and sunbathing area was a really impressive size. We mapped out what would be our apartment in the resort to get an idea of size discussing where our bathroom would be and the view from the balcony...the sea! We arranged to sign contracts of sale the following day and we were picked up from the hotel at the time arranged, not late. Very positive but still having doubts they then took us to the passport office for our residents Visa's which we asked could we get. They did not have to do this for us but they wanted to do everything to help us, offering to call the office anytime should we need anything or have a question even when the resort is complete. While at the passport office we met another English couple who had just completed the handover of their apartment from another
RedSea Properties project we discussed our concerns and questions we had with them, being in exactly the same situation just over a year ago they reassured us and were very happy with their new apartment.
Later that day contracts were about to be signed, we wanted to call John from
RedSea Properties back in the UK to clarify with him the process and that it was all above aboard and safe as we were signing the contract directly with the builders. They then went through to another office and brought John in, very surprised he was here but advised he or one of the team, often come out every month or so to keep the working relationship with the Egyptian builders strong and informed of the progress of all the projects.
We signed, made full payment taking advantage of a great discount a few weeks after we returned home to the UK and ever since have been keeping track of our new home on the website, month by month.
